Matthew Carter and his first wood type

I would love to be able to cut my own wood type. I've done a couple of missing letters on a laser cutter!

That's great! And how is your experience with laser cutted letters? I've found somebody in Belgium who has such device, but I still have to go look at it, how it works and what are the limitations. I need to made a big woodcut and I don't want to carve it manually:)

Sourcing the right wood is the biggest problem! Going to try some this week so will blog my results ;o)
