Offf 2009. Day 3. "Fail gracefully" panel.

"Life gets interesting when systems fail. Why it's sometimes better to be stupid."

"Fail gracefully" was a subject for a discussion panel leaded by Florian Schmitt (Hi-Res!), Mushon Zer-Aviv(Shual), Aaron Koblin, Joshua Davis, PES. I wasn't quite awake when I arrived and I had a feeling that the speakers are having the same problem too. Well, first of all, it was a good idea to create a place for discussion by which became clear how different these people are. Mushon Zer-Aviv was first to start. He came up with examples as http://www.shual.com/you-are-not-here/ and Shiftspace project. Hi-Res! showed some failure projects as this one. Even though it looked amazing it fail to reach it's purpose, in this case the audience. PES told some stories from his own experience, and the talk of Joshua Davis you can watch here.

"Im not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work"
(Thomas A. Edison)
