Day 1. I am still in search of composition. Unfortunately not all alphabets are complete and it cause some problems now and then.

It was another interesting day in MIAT. While this time I didn't print anything myself I have learned new things about polymer plate and witnessed the Heidelberg at work (first time). Those prints are from Tim.

Visual think map

This morning I found my thesis blog mentioned on visualthinkmap website. It explores creative innovative modes of visual communication of information and has a reach collection of images, links and documentation. It is worth visiting.

"Gisten"

Next tuesday, 24 of march, me and the fellow students will be participating in exposition, organized by ourselfs. The MA students are comming from different backgrounds, from textile design, experimental atelier and sculpture, to graphic design, illustration and multimedia. It will be nice to see all these works exposed together. Jump in if you are around:)

Au Petit Coin

Business cards and the gift card for "Au Petit Coin" restaurant in Veurne (Belgium) are finally printed! The interieur and printwork are designed in the style of '20-'30's, with some modern twist of course:)

This is a fictional poster printed in MIAT museum. Printed with wood and movable type.

"Intuition or function" is a school "paper" which had to be designed in form of a magazine or newspaper. The theme, titel and size of "paper" were free to choose. Mine has 16 pages.

Business cards for a medical doctor A. Gevorgyan (Milan, Italy) are finally printed.

Pictogram

Recently I have been visiting Milan. In the airoport of Malpenza I saw a strange pictrogram wich was far from international standards and a lot more far from ideas of O. Neurath. I am not sure that this italian example can be seen as effective and succesfull.
